After more clouds than sun this morning, the sky is now primarily blue (of course, it is now after 5 in the evening, so most of the day for outside activities is done). Guess it will be one more training session on the old treadmill (a couple other items are on the agenda before the running shoes). However, the plan tomorrow is to make the most of the day with a run into town (probably to the bank - 5 miles one way). That should take care of the long distance stuff before Indianapolis. Hard to believe it is only two weeks away from now.
The grass has taken spring into its little green heart and has sprung up beyond belief. Of course, out there, hidden in the tall blades are puddles and little lakes. Never the less, tomorrow is on the schedule for more clipping the tall, out of control stalks.
Easter was its usual great time - too much food, too little time (that should sum it up nicely). As for the food, well ... let's just say it was "HEAVENLY." The annual hunt will be highlighted in the slide show (see comments above). This year the winner was a team: Jason and Karver (the little competitor). The hardest ones to find were the ones out in plain sight (isn't that the way it always goes).
Now the windchimes are playing their comforting sounds, and the sun is still up. Time for a few minutes enjoying the newly screened in front porch before taking a training run. Just two short weeks to prepare for the BIG RUN around Indy.
